Fellowship

The Holy Scriptures encourage us to not give up meeting together. (Heb. 10:25) Besides gathering for worship we also gather as a Christian community for mutual support and fellowship. Below are only some examples of regular opportunities. The best way to know about special events is to sign up for our weekly and/or monthly newsletters.

Sunday Coffee and Donuts
After our Sunday 9:30 service join us in the parish hall for coffee and cookies. Contact the office to sign up at office@saintstephenssherman.org

Men's Group (Brotherhood of St. Stephen's)
The men meet monthly on the second Wednesday in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm for food, fellowship, and often a presentation.

Women's Group (Ladies Night Out)
The women meet monthly on the third Wednesday in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm for food and fellowship.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors
Following an ancient practice of taking the Blessed Sacrament to the sick and homebound, our Lay Eucharistic Visitors have the privilege of doing so at St. Stephen's. They rotate visiting each of our homebound to take them Communion from that Sunday, and pray for the person. At St. Stephen's this ministry is organized primarily by the Daughters of the King.
