The Eucharist (Lord's Supper, Holy Communion, Mass) is the central act of our Christian worship. In the Eucharist we, each Sunday, proclaim the Lord's death until he comes and through the Bread and Wine share in the Body and Blood of Christ. This sharing in his Body and Blood is a "Sacrament" because it is the visible sign that God's grace was there working in us to bring forgiveness and also strengthen our union with Christ.
